Outside insight
If you are at all interested in the Israeli-Palestinian debacle, I’d recommend reading the following piece at Kuro5hin.
Ignoring the huge comments thread developed beneath it, the view reflected in the article is remarkably neutral (in my not so humble opinion), regardless of the fact that the author (as he himself stated) has a jewish girlfriend and does not view all Israelis as savage militarists.
The comment threads do make an interesting (and funny) read – mostly – and I liked this reference especially (just read the responses, especially the first).
