Why Konsole is the best terminal emulator
I often say that one of the main reasons I use KDE Plasma as my default graphical workspace is that some of the KDE specific software is the best at what it does, and specifically – as a lot of my computer time is spent using a console – the KDE terminal emulator software Konsole is the best in the world.
There are many reasons for saying Konsole is the best terminal emulator software in the world, but one of the main reasons is that they keep innovating. For example, here’s a new feature that was just released1: a “Copy location” option in the menu when you right click a file in ls
output:
- in the master branch – unless you run Neon developer edition, you won’t see it in your Konsole installation for a while [↩]
