No IPv6 for you. Come back 1 year.
My technologically inclined friends will probably not be surprised to know that today I called the 3 largest ISPs in Israel and asked whether they offer IPv6 service on their fiber connection, and 2 of them flat-out said “no” and the third said “only if you use our bundled router”.
*) As expected, all sales people had to hear the term “IPv6” spelled out, slowly, 3 times and then had to put me on hold to ask someone what is it.
**) With the third ISP I was conferenced in with a “high ranking technical representative” which did a lot of “hmm checking” as I was asking the question, before saying “no” to private routers.
***) I know for a fact that they all do support DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation, if only because it is mandated by the ministry of communications.
